Summary of Role:
To assist the Marketing Manager to deliver the PR & Marketing Strategy for Gravity Wandsworth to hit high customer and income targets and to raise awareness of the brand as a premium offer within the London leisure market. To implement the day-to-day marketing activities within the marketing department e.g. write copy for leaflets and briefing artwork requirements, managing printing requirements, generating content for, and managing, social media, reporting on results and developing assets and copy for external agencies. To work with the wider marketing team at Head Office and teams across the site to plan, develop and implement marketing campaigns for seasonal events, new activities, and the site as a whole.
Key Accountabilities
- Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager.
- Creating artwork, video, photography, etc. briefs where necessary to deliver campaign assets.
- Work closely with the external digital agencies to ensure messaging and assets are performing effectively and ROAS targets are being met.
- Work closely with the external PR agency to brief them on upcoming activities and develop seasonal press-worthy ideas that can be implemented on site, working with the Operations team to implement ideas and communicate to wider staff.
- Work closely with teams across the site (e.g. F&B, leisure operations) to keep them up-to-date with marketing activities and gain customer trends knowledge.
- Writing and proofreading creative copy.
- Working with the local teams/Head Office Marketing to ensure the website is up-to-date.
- Reporting on analytics against KPIs.
- Brief in-house designers on assets required (e.g. leaflets, digital adverts, videography) for various activities and manage the development process until completion.
- Oversee the day-to-day population of social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok), developing good quality content that engages with, and grows, our audiences.
- Build relationships with key partners and businesses around the community.
- Assist with product launches including on-the-day social media activities.
- Being the go to person for site and internal marketing requirements.
- May be asked to assist with launches and tasks for other sites if the wider team are at full capacity.
Qualifications & Training
Essential
- A Bachelors Degree or an equivalent Marketing qualification
Experience
Essential
- At least 3 years experience working in marketing across online and offline channels in a similar role.
- A confident copywriter, able to tailor messaging and tone of voice for different audiences.
- Demonstrable experience managing and growing social media channels.
- Demonstrable experience with delivering email campaigns.
- Experience working with external agencies.
- Ability to proactively and independently deliver projects but also be a team player.
- Experience managing photo/video shoots.
Desirable
- Experience working in marketing for a leisure destination/attraction.
