About the role
At Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, we’re in the business of creating memories for the thousands of guests that visit us at our eight hotels and two activity centres across Scotland.
As our Marketing Executive, you will be working closely with our teams based in our eight hotels to help execute our local marketing strategy, you help create content and shape campaigns with our Campaigns Marketing Manager and bring new and exciting ideas to the table. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, love creating copy and enjoy briefing projects to multiple agency partners. You’re a people person who loves to work with various hotel team members across different teams.
A very varied role that will take you on many exciting journeys.
- You will be creating engaging and informative content across various platforms, including website copy, blog articles, social media, print materials and email copy.
- You’ll oversee the full marketing job from the minute you get the request into our marketing ticketing system to briefing, writing copy, checking proofs and getting point of sale in place at the hotels.
- You will work closely with our partners and agencies to develop and execute our PR strategy to meet our business KPI’s
- You will work closely with the Campaigns Marketing Manager to execute campaign activity
- You’ll enjoy creative writing and be on hand to pitch in and write content with the rest of the team if we’ve got gaps.
- You’ll get to attend hotel meetings and partner meetings with the extended marketing team to learn and develop your marketing experience.

- This won’t be your first marketing role, but perhaps you’re ready to take the next step so you will have a little experience in briefing, digital marketing practices, managing agencies and content creation but you don’t need to be a know it all. This role is definitely a step into a fast-paced and forward thinking business that will give you exposure to the full integrated marketing mix and we can help compliment your marketing career.
- You love writing content and briefing creative and you’re happy to adapt your content style into the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels tone of voice.
- You’re attentive and have got a great eye for detail. You’ll be proofing your own work and helping the rest of the team as a second set of eyes on some of their projects.
- You want to learn, develop and try new things. We can help you with your desire to know more and are happy to support you with the training and development you want to further your career.
- It would be useful if you did have experience within hospitality or tourism but it’s not the end of the world if you don’t, we’d be delighted to share with you the nuances of running a hospitality business.
- You’re a people person and can communicate really well with different characters across the hotels to deliver their jobs on time.
- You will be juggling multiple projects at once, so being organised is important.
- You’ll demonstrate our core values through your work being positive, thoughtful, creative and curious to learn more.

Location
The marketing team office is based at Crieff Hydro Resort, in Crieff. You’ll need to be in the office a couple of days per week to catch-up with the rest of the team and your hotel colleagues potentially attending hotel meetings where marketing projects are discussed, but the rest of the week can be worked remotely.
