ROLE OVERVIEW

The Marketing Executive is responsible for executing Candyspace’s marketing strategy with the aim of supporting the growth of the business. You’ll run a range of activities including content marketing, PPC, social, email, CRM, retargeting, awards, events and more, all designed to raise Candyspace’s profile among the budget-holders, decision-makers and influencers in our target clients and drive new leads.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

You will be responsible for the execution of a multi-channel marketing strategy including always-on and campaign activities. This will include:

Content

    • Ownership of Candyspace’s content calendar to include responsibility for creating news and other short form content.
    • Coordinating Candyspace subject matter experts to create thought leadership content and translating this into different content types e.g. blogs, video interviews and podcasts.
    • Creating a library of case studies, one-pagers and other marketing collateral to support business development activity.
    • Proofreading of all content to ensure it meets Candyspace’s brand guidelines and TOV.

Communications

  • Ownership of Candyspace’s ommunications calendar to include the distribution of content across third party channels.
  • Regular maintenance of directories and listings.
  • The execution nd optimisation of Candyspace’s email marketing activities.
  • Using Hubspot CRM for the purpose of direct marketing and marketing automation.

Digital Marketing

  • Content management of the Candyspace website.
  • Executing paid media activity and retargeting across LinkedIn, Google and other relevant PPC channels.
  • Content creation and community management across Candyspace’s social media channels.
  • Creating weekly social media posts and monthly reports for a core client.

Events & PR

  • Organising Candyspace’s own marketing events and webinars.
  • Sourcing and co-ordinating opportunities for Candyspace to appear on relevant third party platforms through speaking engagements, panel appearances, judging opportunities etc.
  • Maintaining the awards calendar, preparing award submissions and entering Candyspace, our clients and our people for awards.

Partner Marketing

  • Collaborating with key industry and technology partners to deliver co-marketing initiatives and amplify our partners’ news.

Reporting

  • The set-up, measurement, analysis and evaluation of marketing activity.
  • Running regular reports for the Senior Growth Manager.

Person Profile

  • 2+ years of marketing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hard-working, proactive, self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Good collaborator with a flair for bringing to life ideas from across teams and partners in a compelling manner.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to improve future marketing campaigns.

Desirable:

  • Marketing qualification e.g. CIM/IDM.
  • Agency or professional services experience.
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers.
