TITLE: Marketing Executive

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, and as an integral part of the marketing team the role is to provide marketing assistant to the department for campaigns and design briefs contributing to a world class experience for all of our customers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To create event led marketing and PR activity from initiation to delivery to exceed budgeted sales targets.
· To create and manage the marketing budget.
· Develop and execute B2B and B2C marketing plans in collaboration with the sales team to drive premium sales.
· Drive ticket sales through the development of cross channel promotional activity (social, digital and PR), monitor and evaluate performance
· Work collaboratively with promoters to ensure effective marketing of events.
· To work collaboratively with AO Arenas official ticketing partner to drive opportunities in CRM and growth.
· Work with regional and national marketing agencies to maximise promotional opportunities.
· Drive our social reach by developing and delivering exciting and engaging content marketing.
· Ensure all marketing collateral, content and PR is in line with brand and naming partner guidelines.
· Quarterly review of key competitors across all areas of the consumer offer.
· Actively monitor each campaign, report on a monthly basis and run AB testing across key channels to ensure effective marketing.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
· Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing and campaign management, ideally within an entertainment venue environment.
· Excellent copy writing skills and attention to detail, including experience of proofing marketing materials.
· Proven analytical ability and experience of evaluating marketing campaigns across all key channels
· Proven ability to plan and manage work programmes. Manage conflicting demands and meeting tight deadlines.
· Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Pro Tools and experience of using databases/CRM systems.
· Experience of effectively managing a dedicated budget.
· Ability to present and negotiate effectively.
· Proven ability and desire to work as part of a team.
· Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both internally and externally.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The requirements of the business are such that it is necessary to have a flexible approach and therefore some business-related travel to be able to work at our venues and operational sites will be required.
