Marketing & Events Executive - £28-32,000 per annum + benefits
Based in Camberley. Ideally full-time but part time options available also. Occasional hybrid/flexible working when the workload can accommodate, but you will be office based most of the time.
Overview
Working within this town centre marketing and events organisation, you will be producing marketing materials, and working on events and promotions to make Camberley a destination town for businesses, employers, shoppers and residents alike.
Job Content: Marketing & Events Executive
· Working alongside your line Manager, you are responsible for delivery of the marketing plan
· Day to day management of digital platforms, including social media Twitter / Facebook / Instagram) and the in-house social/website content
· Develop digital communications, using Mailchimp, to promote projects
· Assist with the organisation and delivery of events (including Annual Awards, Christmas Lights, Car Show and more….)
· Assist with the organisation and delivery of campaigns and projects (gift card scheme, flower displays, town centre staff initiatives and more…)
· Assist local businesses with their marketing and promotional materials
· Assist with devising new events, updating and re-invigorating annual events
· In house filming and photography
· Responsible for in house (wherever possible) artwork, using Adobe Creative Cloud/Canva
· Attend all our events and other networking opportunities, acting as a host and/or representative for the organisation (including pre event set up/take down)
· Interface with local businesses, regularly visits to ensuring the best use of these centralised resources
· Assist with general and finance administration (invoices, petty cash)
· Take minutes at Board Meetings, attending with / or in the absence of your Manager
Experience and personal attributes
· Experience in a marketing role
· Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools
· Copy writing and knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop) and Canva
· Confident communication skills, good interpersonal skills, confident networker
· Creative and pro-active
· Flexible with working hours as we will be flexible with time off in lieu and hybrid working
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
· Knowledge of/living local to Camberley town centre
· Comfortable working in a small team, using initiative and working with minimal supervision

Salary and benefits
Offering between £28-32,000 per annum, for a full-time opportunity (pro-rata for part time - also available), pension and annual leave at 28 days (including Bank Holidays). Flexibility is essential during events and peak periods – time in lieu given for working at events outside of contracted hours.
