TalentCity Consulting Inc., a education consulting company based in Burnaby BC, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Assistant with a focus on design and social media management. Responsibilities:
Graphic Design: Create visually appealing and engaging marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital assets. Develop designs that effectively communicate our brand message and resonate with our target audience. Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is essential.
Social Media Management: Develop and implement strategic social media plans to enhance our online presence and engage with our community. Curate and create compelling content for various social media platforms such as RED, WeChat, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and adapt strategies accordingly to maximize reach and engagement.
Content Creation: Assist in content creation for various marketing channels, including blog posts, website copy, email newsletters, and press releases. Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and brand guidelines.
Campaign Coordination: Planning and executing marketing campaigns, including coordinating timelines, assets, and deliverables. Assist with tracking campaign performance, analyzing data, and generating reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and target audience preferences. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and provide recommendations for marketing strategies and positioning.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of proven experience in graphic design and proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools.
3. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for business engagement.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
7. Familiarity with education consulting or related industries is a plus.
