We're looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our small Marketing team, supporting the Marketing Manager and our elected Officer Team to promote the campaigns, activities and services delivered by the Students' Union. You'll have experience of working in a fast paced environment, with demonstrable skills in marketing and communications.
A successful postholder will support the Students' Union to achieve our vision by:
- Coordinating and implementing effective marketing and communication plans across the Union that enable us to engage with our members on a variety of levels;
- Producing engaging content, written or otherwise, on a variety of topics for different communication channels;
- Managing the Union's brand to ensure consistency and quality;
- Working with colleagues to deliver both quantitative and qualitative market research and to advise clients on the best way to meet their needs;
- Taking the lead on digital communications, sourcing and creating content and assisting the Marketing Manager in devising the weekly communications plan
Details of the role
Hours: 1931 (including 244 Holiday Hours and Bank Holidays) per year, worked on a Annualised Hour Contract
Holiday: 5 Weeks per Year plus Bank Holidays
Start Date: August 2023 onwards
Working Hours: Flexible including regular evenings and weekends.
Location: Primarily based at our Stoke Campus but with occasional work from campuses elsewhere in the UK
