Position Overview:
As an Entry-Level Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our marketing initiatives and helping to drive business growth. Your responsibilities will include managing our social media platforms, assisting with media engagement activities, and identifying opportunities to support our sales teams. Additionally, you will contribute to the coordination of tradeshows, assist with media writing tasks, and collaborate with the team to create engaging marketing calendars. This is an exciting entry-level position for someone looking to kick-start their career in marketing and gain exposure to various marketing disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement with our online community.
- Support media engagement efforts by researching relevant media outlets, assisting in media outreach, and tracking coverage.
- Work closely with the sales teams to identify and develop marketing opportunities that align with their objectives and target audience.
- Coordinate logistics for tradeshows and industry events, including booth setup, collateral preparation, and lead generation activities.
- Assist with media writing tasks, such as press releases, blog posts, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the North American sales and marketing teams to create and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar, ensuring all activities are planned and executed effectively.
- Monitor and analyze lead generation performance using appropriate tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing techniques.
Qualifications:
- Adobe programs
- Drive leads through marketing campaigns
- Experience with events or tradeshows would be helpful
- Social media management
- Zoominfo would be helpful
- Preferred, not required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong interest in marketing and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of social media platform accounts for businesses.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to take initiative.
- Very helpful: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media management tools.
