We are looking for a Graduate Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and vibrant marketing team.

The role
This is a hybrid role. As a key member of the marketing team, you will work alongside the Marketing Executive to deliver engaging and factual content for inbound marketing activity.
Whether you’re learning how to create and edit video content, conducting competitor analysis, generating ideas for our monthly social media plan, or getting us ready for an event, your ability to have enthusiasm, drive and a keen attention to detail will be key.
Of course, you'll need to demonstrate your creative ability, but we're also looking for evidence that you can multitask, have meticulous attention to detail, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
This role is designed for development and growth, so you can expect to continue learning whilst you grow your career and soak up plenty of hands-on marketing experience.
About you
- You have a creative mindset with the ability to contribute fresh ideas and help generate engaging content.
- You’re a great communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills, excited to present new ideas and discuss campaigns with subject matter experts.
- You have excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills. Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- You have a familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
- You’re comfortable working both collaboratively and autonomously.
- You have a keen eye for detail.
- You have a full UK driving licence, we are based in the countryside and not on a public transport route.
Your responsibilities
- Create compelling and captivating social media content and coordinate the distribution of posts across various platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. Stay updated on competitor activities and industry news through social listening.
- Assist the Marketing Executive in executing monthly marketing campaigns. This includes learning how to design marketing materials, managing campaign timelines, creating email templates, and reporting on campaign results.
- Serve as a brand ambassador by designing client presentations and branding documents that align with our tone of voice and brand guidelines.
- Support social value initiatives and charity campaigns, actively participating in our social committee.
- Manage the events calendar, ensuring relevant literature and merchandise are available.
- Conduct competitor analysis to stay informed about the competitive landscape and identify opportunities.
- Administer and report on NPS (Net Promoter Score) client satisfaction surveys throughout the year.
- Support with monthly data cleansing activities for our customer CRM, ensuring accurate contact information for effective marketing outreach.
- Create and update buyer personas in preparation for new marketing campaigns.
- Support the marketing team in delivering engaging and informative content across multiple channels and resources such as the website, blogs, email, e-books, 'how to' guides, case studies, brochures, social media, and newsletters.
- Develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Directors, Heads of Service and Operational Managers, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of inbound marketing campaigns.
- Provide ad hoc support to the marketing team as needed.
Benefits and package
- A competitive salary banding from £22,000, however this can be negotiable depending on experience.
- Salaries are reviewed annually in line with performance reviews, you will have a clear salary plan linked to your personal development plan.
- Flexible hours and hybrid working available, with 1 day a week spent at our Head Office in the Warrington area.
- The business is closed between Christmas and New Year.
- 26 days annual leave (3 days allocated over the Christmas shut down) plus 8 days Bank Holidays. If a part-time role these will be pro-rata.
