How Finite Supplies sells:
We exhibit at agricultural shows across the U.K promoting products such as footwear, gloves and clothing to farmers, equestrians and general public. A full head to toe offering of industry specific workwear and PPE is also advertised online through the website as well as being sold to businesses directly.

As long as you are organised, reliable, turn up on time and have a good work ethic then we believe that you will have the ability to further develop your knowledge through training. We don't expect you to know everything from day one, we will work with you to develop your skills over time.
What training will be provided:
With any small business you must be able to cover multiple roles and so training will be given not just for the marketing duties, but other duties as well. Whilst your primary focus will be marketing related, this will give you an excellent opportunity to get an understanding of the business as a whole.
Here are a few examples:
- We will train you on our sales order and stock control system - Sage 50
- You will learn how to manage content and product data on the website - WordPress/WooCommerce
- We will train you on how to manage product data in our EPOS till system - SumUp
- You will be shown how we create/manage databases and price lists - Excel
- We will go through with you how we present correspondence - Word/Outlook
- You will be shown how we edit and prepare product pictures - Adobe Photoshop
- We will train you on how to put a marketing email together - MailChimp
Possible Office Duties:
Here is a list of marketing duties you will be asked to primarily handle:
- Manage/update/maintain all kinds of product data - Sage 50, WooCommerce, SumUp, eBay
- Create marketing graphics and edit pictures - Adobe Products
- Send marketing emails - MailChimp
- Post to social media - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube
- Print and laminate graphics
- Order equipment from suppliers websites
- Communicate with suppliers to get prices or information
- Design floor plans and layouts for shows
- Book shows
- Communicate with show organisers and suppliers
Here is a list of other duties you may be asked to cover when required:
- Pick and pack sales orders
- Book deliveries on DPD courier system
- Take incoming phone calls
- Communicate with customers by phone and email
- Proactively contact existing customers with promotions
- Database building
Shows:
You may be required to help out at the shows and with duties regarding the shows. The shows are a lot of fun, but do require a certain amount of physical effort at certain points, such as when we are loading and unloading the vans. For some local one day shows we can get up early and go there and back in the same day, or go there the day before to set up the stands so we don't have as much to do on the morning of the show. For other shows like the big multi day ones we have to camp overnight on the stand. If stopping overnight, we ensure that all welfare facilities are provided, such as toilets, hot showers, camp beds. Plus consumables such as food, drink, toiletries are provided from the point of departure to the point of return.
Possible Show Duties:
Here is a list of marketing duties you will be asked to primarily handle:
- Prepare marketing materials for shows and put on van
- Help load and unload vans
- Help set up stands and configure layouts of tables, stock, graphics
- Book shows - fill in forms, post letters, write and send emails
- Communicate with show organisers and suppliers by phone and email
Here is a list of other duties you may be asked to cover when required:
- Support at shows by talking to customers, operating till, and handling cash
- Communicate with show organisers and suppliers in person at the shows
Essential Requirements:
- A positive can-do attitude
- Desire to learn
- Good communicator
Desirable Requirements:
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Competency in Adobe applications including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Acrobat
Offering Summarised:
- Salary: £10.50 per hour
- Standard work days: Monday – Friday
- Standard Hours: 10am – 6pm
- 1 hour allowed for breaks each day
- Standard week: 35 hours paid at £10.50 an hour = £367.50 a week
- Some weekends and bank holidays may need to be worked
- Holidays: 28 days total each year
- Any extra hours worked will be banked and given in lieu by agreement
