Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Salary Band: £28-£35k
Location: Bedford / Milton Keynes

Drive Fuze is a platform where consumers can simply and seamlessly subscribe to an all-inclusive vehicle subscription with a single monthly transparent payment. Our mission is to transform how people access cars by changing traditional ownership to 21st century usership.
As a new and entrepreneurial start up it is an exciting time to be part of the growing marketing team with a digital first approach. The role of Marketing Assistant is to work closely with the Marketing Director to attract new subscribers, retain existing subscribers and re engage lapsed subscribers. Using measurable channels and tactics you will work with the team to optimise marketing channels to be able to clearly demonstrate a return on investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating original content and managing social media pages, posting updates and responding to comments and messages
- Growing Drive Fuze’s organic social followers
- Communicating with clients, customers and external agencies (PR, creative, web dev etc)
- Undertaking marketing research and providing findings in reports
- Updating www.drivefuze.com using its CMS system
- Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the website
- Assist with the development and implementation of the marketing strategy under the direction of the Marketing Director
- Using martech platforms to send acquisition, retention and activation emails and to schedule social media content
- Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow Drive Fuze’s reputation and acquisition objectives
- Help to plan and attending industry events, conferences and trade shows
- Creating presentations for use by the Executive Board
- Evaluate marketing performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics to drive continuous improvement
Experience Required:
- Minimum of two years’ experience of working within a marketing team/function
- Knowledge and understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO)
- Highly skilled in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Passion for all things marketing related, from copywriting through to reporting and analysis
- Demonstration of knowledge of social media marketing
- Experience of using CMS’ and martech platforms including Google Analytics
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills a
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
- Creative-thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
