Job description
Blackbird Security is looking to hire a Marketing Assistant to join our diverse and
dynamic head office team in Vancouver, BC.
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, creative and is enthusiastic about creating new content.
The Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Supervisor and will communicate
daily with different departments and managers in order to obtain potential marketing
content. This role will support in drafting weekly social media posts, coordinate
retrieving and creating content, going to sites to take photos, creating the monthly
newsletter and supporting marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have an eye for design and content ideas that appeal to potential clients. This role would report to the Marketing Supervisor and will be a hybrid role with working half of the week from the Vancouver office.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with photography &
videography:
- Coordinating with Client Services to obtain information on new contracts
- Coordinating with the Communications Team via information sharing
- Coordinate with the operational managers to obtain photos
- Scout & coordinate with potential models for photoshoots
- Coordinate the logistics for photoshoots
- Generate weekly social media posts (with the oversight of the Marketing
- Supervisor) and posting and various platforms
- Maintain the content folders & documentation
- Manage the Google Review Platforms, including answering & flagging reviews Answering Social Media direct messages
- Coordinate copy for Staff & Manager of the month awards
- Additional Ad-hoc projects
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn,
- Twitter, etc)
- Experience with basic Graphic Design (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva)
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Experience with project Coordination experience
- Strong time management skills
- Preference will be given to applicants with a Photography or Videography/Video
- Editing background
This role is available in both Part Time or Full Time
