Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the execution of marketing campaigns, coordinating various marketing activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of marketing projects.

What you’ll be doing

• Executing on marketing strategy; at the direction of marketing management, set it into motion various tactics for completing a marketing campaign. This can include pitching content ideas, submitting tickets with our creative team, and building/organizing content.
• Content creation and editing - Help ideate and sometimes create marketing content, such as blog posts, social media posts, or promotional materials.
• Technology administrative tasks; this can include provisioning new users in various marketing platforms, organizing files, and maintaining databases.
• Market research - Assist with gathering and analyzing data, conducting market research, and monitoring industry trends.
• Communication and collaboration; help with internal communication efforts to inform stakeholders of new marketing offerings.
• Fulfillment help when needed; if local to our Virginia Beach market, assist team members at headquarters with building marketing kits for our ever-growing sales team.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

What you’ll bring

• A desire to learn different marketing tactics and strategies
• Strong organizational skills – ability to balance many tasks so the ability to prioritize and manage your time is critical to your success
• Creativity – while this job is considered entry-level, we’d love to see you flex your creative muscles with fresh ideas. Experience in Canva or creating compelling social content for yourself or other organizations is a big plus.
• Teamwork and collaboration – you’ll work with nearly every member of the marketing team, coordinating efforts and making sure every project and campaign you’re assigned runs smoothly.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn – the marketing landscape is continuously evolving, so a growth mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry trends is a must have .
• Tech-literate – we use a number of Microsoft products and web-based tools to complete marketing projects within the department. Your ability to quickly learn the ins and outs of our tools will help you excel in this role.
