Job purpose
Working in the Commercial Team and reporting to the Senior Marketing Campaign Manager this dynamic role is responsible for managing website content though our Content Management System (CMS). The Marketing Content Assistant Manager will also work closely with our Marketing & Commercial teams to ensure correct and timely promotion of brand launches and other internal activity.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in the management of onsite implementation of onsite activity, in line with the trading plan, based on product launch dates, strategic launches, offers & seasonality.
- Ensure content (banners, landing pages and copy) is uploaded to the website in the correct format and in a timely manner using our internal content management system. (Training will be provided)
- Work with the Buying team on implementation of new Brand launches, plotting in & requesting assets from brands. Upload banners and link them to correct URLs.
- Assist the day to day running or our Community channel, including managing competitions and working with Brands on masterclasses.
- Manage the briefing & testing of onsite promotional codes.
- Manage Brand page updates directly with Brands and Buying team as requested.
- Assist with management of onsite event shops, including creation of pages, testing and proof-reading copy.
- Assist with reporting for onsite events, making recommendations for improvements to increase revenue and customer interaction.
- Providing proof of brand package implementation for Brands.
Skills / Qualifications
- Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong work ethic
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Marketing Degree, CIM, UX qualification is an advantage but not necessary. More important is awareness of digital landscape.
- Marketing experience (creative & copy) is preferred.
- Experience using a CMS would be beneficial.
- Excellent understanding of and passion for the beauty category and its marketing trends
- Methodical and analytical, knowledge of Content Square or similar preferred.
- Ability to work with own initiative, seeking to improve processes and be proactive in managing day to day workload.
