Job description
As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you will primarily focus on driving App Acquisition through paid channels and ASO. You'll be responsible for managing Apple Search Ads, Universal Ad Campaigns, and other performance marketing strategies for mobile apps. In addition, you'll handle ad hoc roles, such as Affiliates, purchasing orders, and other administrative duties.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to drive app acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Plan, implement, and optimise paid advertising campaigns for mobile apps, including Apple Search Ads and Universal Ad Campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance, conduct data analysis, and make data-driven decisions to improve key performance metrics such as installs, conversion rates, and ROAS.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
- Conduct thorough app store optimization (ASO) to improve app visibility, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in the app ecosystem, including app store algorithms and ad platforms.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to optimise campaign performance and explore new growth opportunities.
- Assist with other digital marketing activities, such as managing affiliate partnerships, coordinating purchasing orders, and supporting ad hoc administrative duties.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Proven experience in performance marketing, specifically App Acquisition.
- Strong expertise in managing Apple Search Ads and Universal Ad Campaigns.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience using analytics tools such as GA4, Appsflyer, and Apptweak to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent understanding of other digital marketing channels, including paid search, display advertising, social media, and affiliate marketing.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
