Burnsville, MN is the headquarters for the Communications Systems Division of Bosch Security Systems. Our main activities include the Product Management, Development, Quality, Financial and Materials Management of the Business Unit Critical Communications Systems, Pro Sound and Public Address & Conferencing. The Marketing Communications department is a strong and dynamic in-house creative services team responsible for global marketing communications and brand management for the Communications, Sound, and Audio portfolio. The diverse product audience includes musicians to governments to stadiums. Team members are based in Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Russia, Italy, Dubai), the US (Burnsville, Fairport), Singapore and China.
The Regional Marketing Communications Specialist is part of the global Marketing Communications team in the business unit "Communications". They are responsible for developing a marketing communications plan utilizing the necessary online and offline channels to reach the desired target audience(s).
- Aligns closely with regional marketing and sales to ensure needs of the market are addressed in the communications strategies and actions
- Works closely with Product / Portfolio MarCom Experts to obtain effective marketing tools for their region / market(s)
- Marketing Communications strategy development and execution based on the key objectives for the region and the Bosch Professional Sound portfolio
- MarCom 'face to the customer' - representative for key accounts
- Skilled in regional communications channels including event management and online / webinar coordination
- Manages budget for regional / local roll-out
- Degree in Marketing or related field
- 3+ years of marketing communications experience
- Digital communications expertise
- Strong Project Management skills
- Expertise in communication channels and working with channel partners
- Experience with online communication channels and how to use them effectively
- Ability to identify best communication tools and channels for target audience
- Leadership and vision in driving global marketing strategy within region
- Quick and effective execution of MarCom activities into the market
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans
- Strong time management and planning skills
- Budget, finance, and strong reporting skills
- Aptitude for influencing and effective decision making
- Strong internal and external presentations skills
- Prefer candidate have experience and a passion for music and the professional sound industry
- Prefer candidate to have experience working with multiple brands
- Prefer candidate to have experience marketing physical products in a B2B environment
- Prefer candidate to have experience with a matrix company
