The Ambassador Theatre Group is an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to producing shows and ticketing, through our industry-leading sites ATGtickets.com, LOVEtheatre and Group Line. We are very excited to be recruiting a Head of Marketing & Communications for our wonderful New Wimbledon Theatre & Studio!
New Wimbledon Theatre is the closest regional theatre to London with a large seating capacity (1,600), good technical facilities, excellent transport links, a 66-seat Studio and a strong customer offer.
The theatre team is committed to delivering against its long-term strategy to grow the theatre business to record levels of attendance, engagement and EBITDA.
Our vision is to ensure that New Wimbledon Theatre is a must-visit destination for audiences and producers alike. New Wimbledon Theatre will become everyone’s first choice – a flagship theatre, with an environmental conscience, championing diversity, and continuing to welcome our community for at least another 112 years.
Re-engaging with the local community will be a key driver for the theatre’s success.
The Marketing and Communications team works closely with central teams and across the theatre operation to deliver increased ticket sales, maximising ticket and retail revenue and supporting our community initiatives, all within a busy commercial environment.
