Marketing Communications Executive
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, Hybrid or Remote
Salary band - £25,000 rising to £28,000
Contract: Monday – Friday, no weekends or bank holidays!
Due to continued growth, we have exciting opportunities for Marketing Communications Executive to join durhamlane, full time and on a permanent basis.
We are looking for individuals interested in building a strong B2B social media presence; enjoy the creativity of developing B2B email marketing campaigns & newsletters, and would love to engage with our audience through our podcasts, whilst driving growth across all social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)!

Responsibilities:
The Marketing Communications Executive role is a distinct opportunity to -
- Building the company’s organic social media presence; planning, writing and scheduling social posts, engaging with our audience, driving growth across all social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
- Supporting promotional activity for ‘The Insiders’ company podcast; writing blogs, website and social copy, liaising with the digital, production and creative teams.
- Executing the company’s email marketing strategy; building subscriber lists, writing and coordinating regular email communications to prospects and customers.
- Executing the company’s internal communications strategy with regular company newsletters.
- Liaising with the PR team to coordinate media opportunities and the awards calendar; writing submissions and supporting content.
- Supporting the digital team with: Web copy, Content production (case studies, blogs, eBooks, brochures) and Email campaigns.
- Supporting the HR and Recruitment teams with promotional content, social media marketing and email communications for both internal and recruitment events.
- Supporting the wider business across internal and external events, webinars, and projects.

- Self-starter seeking a multifaceted role within a fast-growing company.
- Experience using CRMs, email platforms, and social media tools.
- Ability to write high quality copy for digital/print content with strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic with the ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
- Highly organised, able to manage various projects and meet deadlines.
- Passionate about marketing and communications.
- Hungry to develop skills across a range of activities.
Minimum 2 years of marketing experience (agency or in-house) preferred but not essential
