About the role
The Marketing and Candidate Engagement Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing an engagement strategy, to support our recruitment strategy, at the candidate attraction and engagement stage. This will improve our social media presence and ensure that our website has up-to-date information.

Experience
- Engagement or Marketing background or a graduate who possesses the drive and positive energy
- Experience in recruitment marketing
- Outstanding copywriting skills, with the ability to deliver quality written communications
- Experience within the Care sector is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

- Work as a key member of the Business Support Team and assist internal ‘customers’ with recruitment, marketing, and communications support.
- Lead and deliver on the recruitment and marketing strategies at the attraction stage.
- Implement marketing and communication strategies in line with brand guidance.
- Ensure brand positioning and core offer are compelling and consistent across all marketing communication.
- Embody the Company Values and be the voice of the organisation.
- Work closely with external suppliers, such as designers, creative agencies, and printers, on the development of recruitment and marketing collateral.
- Shape effective and engaging copy; proofread to a high level of accuracy and quality.
- Ensure social media channels and the website are kept up to date including planning, scheduling, and writing content.
- To deliver targets on time and to adapt to changing priorities as the need arises.
- Use market insight to drive marketing communications.
- Use networking skills and interpersonal skills to build effective links with a wide range of stakeholders and referral sources.
- Strive for continuous improvement of engagement levels.
- Maintain excellent communication between appropriate internal and external agencies.
- Keep abreast of and attend internal events and develop relationships with all sites. Attend external events, representing and promoting the company.
- To track the effectiveness of campaigns, reporting on this and making recommendations to maximise opportunities where appropriate.
- Face any problems in a forward-thinking manner and use your own initiative to solve.
- Promote an accepting culture and the highest respect for equality and diversity.
- Contribute to the development of briefs for advertising campaigns, outlining appropriate messaging, engaging lead attraction collateral, and insight into the target audience.
- Lead the production of copy for recruitment campaigns.
- Support recruitment campaigns and facilitate any internal or external events.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on all recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Develop and implement creative solutions resulting in candidate attraction to meet the needs of the company, making a real impact on the service we deliver.
- Deliver effective marketing communications online, in person, and in print to attract and convert prospective candidates, conveying compelling aspects of Bright Futures' offer in engaging and innovative formats, in line with agreed plans and priorities.
- Demonstrate effective planning and organisational skills. Ensuring that contacts are kept informed and potential candidates are motivated.
- Ensure the social media channels contain relevant and engaging information which drives engagement with prospects, developing and maintaining specific content.
- To carry out post-campaign and relevant touchpoint analysis, ensuring insight and feedback are considered in future campaigns and activities.
- Work on the development of campaigns promoting our homes and schools, ensuring they will be attractive and compelling to the target audience, and will set Bright Futures aside from competitors.

- Car driver with access to own vehicle

- Willingness to work flexibly depending on the needs of the organisation

- Bright Futures commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and our requirement for the successful applicant would be to undertake enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check where appropriate. Satisfactory references are also required.
