About Mission Zero Technologies:
MZT is an early-stage start-up pioneering a breakthrough Direct Air carbon Capture (DAC) technology that can scrub CO2 from the air using a fraction of the energy compared to incumbent technologies developed by the likes of Carbon Engineering and Climeworks. In the past two and a half years, MZT has evolved its technology from concept to pilot plant scale, successfully raising over £8m from a mixture of private and government funding. MZT's technology is a hybrid of approaches, combining efficient solution-phase capture of CO2 with a continuous and compact electrochemical separation technology.
Mission Zero and its work is guided by its principles of bold curiosity, problem solving acumen and hope for the future. We strive to realise a world where humanity has new tools to fight climate change, remove CO2 permanently from the atmosphere and produce everyday products such as concrete blocks or fuels from atmospheric carbon emissions. To do this we need to realise a decentralised Gt supply chain for CO2 sourced directly from the atmosphere.
The opportunity:
You have the opportunity to join MZT at a pivotal point in our company's history - our transition from an early-stage R&D startup into a product offering, revenue-generating company poised to rapidly scale our direct-air capture technology across the world. You will form an integral part of our growing commercial function, building the strategic messaging and content base upon which successful commercial initiatives are undertaken. You will contribute toward and own the ideation, strategy design and execution of mission critical campaigns and be a fundamental part of evolving and executing our go to market strategy. Eventually you will contribute to building out the commercial team, alongside the commercialisation lead.
What you'll be responsible for:
- The delivery, curation and evolution of the companies branding and marketing strategies
- You will spearhead, working closely with the CEO and Commercialisation Lead, the delivery, marketing and communications initiatives relevant to the companies goals and objectives
- Developing and implementing content strategy
- Ownership and management of marketing channels, social media accounts and our website
- Executing and tracking campaigns, focusing on ROI and conversion
- Developing and building, including digital content, collateral and merchandised design, documents and presentations
- Capturing and analysing market data
- Overseeing the budget and performance of all marketing campaigns
- Working with stakeholders across the business to define our brand and ensure alignment within the organisation
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
- A qualification in a relevant field
- 5+ years of marketing and/or branding experience in a relevant industrial field
- A proven track record in the delivery of marketing campaigns informed by data analysis and customer insights
- A demonstrated creative mindset and track record of acquiring customers in new ways.
- Excellent writing and design skills.
Also desirable:
- Video Editing experience
- Demonstrated experience with a range of marketing tools
