Job Description:
Wicked Brick is seeking an innovative, data-driven, and seasoned Head of Marketing to spearhead our brand growth and digital strategy. As the key storyteller for our brand, your primary responsibility will be to craft a strategic roadmap and execute impactful plans to establish Wicked Brick as a household name.
This role demands a leader capable of orchestrating marketing activities across all current and emerging channels, ensuring our brand consistently stands out against competitors. The successful candidate will possess the skills to drive and inspire their team while delivering engaging, successful, and lead-generating marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing (Required)
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing (Preferred)
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in Team Management (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
● Own the success and direction of the Marketing function at Wicked Brick.
● Champion the Wicked Brick brand, driving its direction using your expertise and data-driven insights.
● Strategically design and build out the marketing department, recruiting and training the right talent, leading and managing the team.
● Develop and execute overarching brand strategies for new verticals and product launches.
● Implement marketing strategies and deliver campaigns across all channels, manage product positioning and pricing strategies.
● Identify new market segments for expansion and define a long-term global marketing and communication strategy.
● Collaborate with creative and product teams for holistic marketing activity.
● Manage the Marketing department's budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
● Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels through exceptional content and campaign creation.
● Share creative insights and data with stakeholders to inform product and sales strategy.
● Set and report on OKRs, progress updates, and ROI to the Directors and wider team.
Ideal Candidate:
● You have proven experience as a Head of Marketing or similar role. You possess an exceptional eye for creativity and design, coupled with a portfolio showcasing disruptive marketing campaigns and strategies.
● You bring not only proven experience but also a genuine interest in the collectibles and pop culture landscape. Your knowledge of industry trends and our customer base is vital to creating resonant marketing strategies. Your appreciation for our products and understanding of our brand's values will drive Wicked Brick's growth and amplify our market presence.
● You're ambitious and driven, eager to take ownership of Wicked Brick's marketing as we scale, setting the scene for our future strategy. Your track record of leading successful marketing and ecommerce strategies within a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment is second to none.
● Your data-driven approach and pragmatic decision-making are integral to your success. You're skilled in leveraging insights from data to inform your strategic planning and day-to-day decisions, aligning marketing objectives with business goals.
● In addition to your past successes, your experience in building and coaching high-performing teams shines through. You're an innovator who brings new ideas to the table, always adjusting marketing tactics as we scale. You excel in collaboration, building excellent working relationships across various teams, and are comfortable with a hands-on approach while maintaining operational and strategic thinking.
