The company is one of the country’s most successful contract curtain and soft furnishings manufacturers, contract floorcoverings suppliers and installers, and commercial interior fit out and finish contractors.

The time has come to build our Marketing Department and the opportunity for you to be part of the launch and the development of a new e-commerce brand launch and this is where we need you! Whilst you will be the marketing department for the time being, this is a unique opportunity with growth in mind and the potential to develop a brand and thus develop a team.

As our marketing expert we will require two things; a strategist to collaborate with our existing external marketing partner, to brief marketing plans to the Senior Management Team and someone 'hands on' to deliver the marketing service. Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior Management Team and our external to understand and define short, mid,
  • and long-term marketing priorities.
  • Own the creation and delivery of the marketing strategy
  • Own the design and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns and activities to support key growth areas.
  • Lead on the design and creation of high-quality sales collateral, including writing and proof-reading
  • Management of digital strategy including website maintenance, SEO, PPC, and online chat.
  • Management of the social media strategy with a focus on continuous growth & improved engagement across channels.
  • Organising and attending events such as conferences and exhibitions (B2B)
  • Create new ideas and solutions to produce visually cohesive messages for marketing campaigns and activities over a range of media with lead generation being a key objective.
  • Evaluate and monitor the impact of all marketing campaigns to maximise return on investment.
  • Develop, manage, and maximise supplier relationships such as printers and agencies to ensure delivery of brand objectives and campaign plans.
  • Assist with the delivery of internal communication channels/tools to ensure all colleagues are informed of business news, issues, changes, and direction.
  • Manage a defined marketing budget with regular reporting highlighting return on investment.
  • Manage each brand (B2B and B2C) and ensure clarity and consistency in message and tone of voice.
  • To carry out other reasonable duties as required.

Essential Qualities and Skills

  • Similar experience/background in marketing.
  • Analysing performance and campaign/channel effectiveness.
  • Knowledge and experience of marketing tools such as Website, email marketing platforms, Creative Cloud, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Development and implementation of successful customer marketing campaigns.
  • Copywriting and sales asset creation (web, brochures, pitch decks etc

Desirable Qualities and Skills

  • Relevant marketing qualification.
  • Experience in upselling and cross-selling.
