Communications Manager lead and manage a portfolio of clients and collaborate across multiple internal groups to deliver seamless multi-channel communications that enhance the quality and effectiveness of marketing campaigns. This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative member marketing plans for our National Accounts line of business. The successful candidate will excel in fast-paced environments, have demonstrated experience interacting with external clients, experience managing the execution of annual communication plans, and facilitating the coordination of campaigns and materials across shared clients within UHG.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consult with internal and external customers to develop customer-specific consumer marketing strategies
- Collaborate with strategy partners to create consumer marketing campaigns for each customer
- Create the creative brief to kick-off the campaigns across creative, product, and other cross functional areas
- Establish project plans and schedules with cross functional teams to make sure all impacted stakeholders understand the project
- Prepare and execute realistic project schedules for individual team including milestones and deliverables using internal tools
- Manage the timeline and execution of marketing materials end-to-end, with a heavy emphasis on project management and a high commitment to high quality outcomes
- Work with all internal and external cross functional teams including fulfillment, email, analytics, creative, consultant and data
- Manage competing priorities and timelines of cross functional team
- Collaborate with creative partners to execute consumer marketing campaigns for each customer
- Ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget and aligned with the Surest pillars and customer objectives
- Develop post-campaign performance reports that demonstrate behavior change and ROI
- Serve as subject matter expert to internal and external customers

Required Qualification:
- 5+ years of consumer marketing and project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with WorkFront project management system
- Experience with nurturing and cultivating client relationships
- Knowledge of the behavioral science
- Proven curiosity for business development
- Demonstrated success working in a role where ambiguous direction is provided
- Proven excellent planning and organization skills with demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while implementing projects
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with partners in a highly matrixed organization

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
