Key Objective:
To work closely with the Head Office Marketing team to develop the centre marketing plan for the Westfield London Shopping Centre, which you will then execute alongside the Centre Marketing teams, actively contributing to driving the centre’s turnover and profit growth.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with the Head of Marketing Operations to develop and execute the centre marketing plan for Westfield London on an annual basis, aligned to national category plans.
- Work with the Senior Strategic Research Manager to use relevant customer insights to drive the future shopper experience.
- Assist the Head of Marketing Operations in communicating the asset performance and strategies to key stakeholder.
- Participate with asset team members in order to resolve specific marketing issues and communicate plans and results effectively.
- Effectively manage and report on the operational marketing budget to ensure that annual budgets are agreed to.
- Work with the Finance team to reconcile monthly marketing budgets and reporting.
- Critically evaluate and provide a review of all in-centre marketing campaigns, measuring success and quality and sharing results with key stakeholders.
- Seek opportunities to test marketing activities and mediums and share across the two centres.
- Work with Retail Relations and Rise teams to understand individual retailer and brand needs/plans to build and leverage opportunities.
- Lead the execution of marketing campaigns for the centre’s carpark and services.
- Develop a superior understanding of the Westfield London shopper (consumer) and communicate impact of this internally within asset team.
- Manage asset team requests whilst still maintaining adequate resourcing for marketing priorities.
- Review and interpret local and global competitor activities and behaviour (consumer trends) and work through implications at a local centre level.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Significant experience in a retail, shopping centre or FMCG environment.
- Ability to operate strongly at an executional level.
- Commercially aware and up to date with Retail industry news.
- Highly motivated team player, committed to the company culture.
- Operationally excellent and driven to deliver results.
