Job description
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with integrated marketing team to develop, manage, and execute best-in-class global events strategy to support industry and Star-led events, webinars and programs.
- Own our annual flagship event Synergy including on-site and digital logistics, registrations, on-site event app, agendas, invites, communications and promotions.
- Work with Sales Leadership and Relationship Management teams to develop a Customer Advisory Board and host quarterly meetings
- Manage and maintain Star events calendar
- Own the end-to-end digital execution of in-person, virtual and hybrid events – from roundtables to industry tradeshows.
- Help in the design, production and distribution of all promotional materials and events collateral working closing with Demand Gen, product marketing, brand, design and others in marketing team.
- Educate sales team on best use of marketing and sales enablement materials around events.
- Engage with sales to communicate, coordinate and optimize the impact of new and planned event activities including global, regional and local programs.
- Represent event marketing in regional sales meetings and QBRs.
- Manage performance and ROI of events.
- Manage budget for all events.
- Source venues, negotiate event and sponsorship contracts, and manage vendors/suppliers (including swag/gifting) leading up to and during the events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and8-10+ years related experience
- Knowledge of marketing objectives, tactics and strategies
- Broad understanding of best practice in events both in person, digital and hybrid.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and marketing automation/content platforms
- Excellent relationship management skills with ability to build rapport, influence and deepen relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge and experience executing ABM campaigns
- Identify with and have a strong appreciation for the sales role
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Ability to think out of the box and take risks
- Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic and tactical thinking
- Strong communication skills, especially verbal
- Strong and disciplined project management, process improvement capabilities and organizational skills; Attention to detail required
