Who are we
Sport4Kids provide "beyond world class" sports coaching for children from the ages of 18 months through to the teen years. We design everything for a child-centric perspective and specialise in sports solutions for nurseries and schools, holiday-based activities for children out of term-time in addition to our weekend sports clubs and classes.
We are a franchise-based organisation, with the core business based in Surrey – but with franchise partners operating our product and mantra UK-wide.
General
We are seeking an experienced, creative, well-organised and enthusiastic person to work as our Head of Marketing. The role will work across the business, including closely with our Service-Line Leads and Franchise Partners, and will be responsible for all marketing and communication activities across the business. This will include developing our brand, managing communications across various medias, control of online and offline advertising, managing the internal marketing team, working closely with internal stakeholders and developing and growing our digital presence.
Requirements
Degree qualification in relevant subject required (desirable)
At least three years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent written and spoken English and copy writing skills are essential
PC proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft office applications, email and social media platforms
Strong analytical and research skills with solid knowledge of website analytics tools
Experience in B2C channel marketing
Demonstrable experience of developing website content and working with content management systems
Technical marketing knowledge and proven record of achievement and delivering digital marketing campaigns
You have experience in working with content management systems (CMs such as Wordpress)
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to learn
Accountability and personal organisation are essential.
Demonstrable experience of managing and developing teams - Demonstrable experience of relationship management: managing suppliers and third-party contributors as well as internal stakeholders
Two satisfactory and relevant references

Job Tasks will involve:
Managing budgets for marketing campaigns - Manage and report on budgets on a monthly basis to ensure effective budgeting and cost control.
Develop and deliver forward thinking ideas to promote campaigns in line with the industry
Develop, lead, and execute marketing strategies that are uniquely differentiated to increase brand awareness, sales revenue, and market share in line with business objectives.
Build and manage the marketing team as we expand, which will include interviews, line management duties, organisation of workload and training.
Lead on the continuous improvement and optimisation of the digital customer journeys and customer experience for all customer segments, across multiple service lines.
Ensure campaign KPIs are achieved, creating reports to present to the Senior Management team and making recommendations for improvements where appropriate
Digital and Physical Marketing – creating a clear and well-planned Marketing strategy for Sport4Kids various services to ensure vast reach across all customer bases.
Website and SEO – responsibility for any website updates, optimisation and ensuring steady organic traffic by implementing SEO best practices.
Social Media Management – create and implement a clear and concise social media strategy to be implemented by our Marketing Executive, utilising local content from our various sites.
Design skills – use design tools, such as CANVA, to create and brief to the team the creation of visually appealing and captivating documents like social tiles, advertising display assets, leaflets and posters for our core business and Franchise Partners use.
Customer Service – work seamlessly with other members, including the head of Customer Service to provide first-class customer service, both online and offline to all our customer stakeholders.
Act as an Ambassador for the Marketing & Communications team both internally and externally.
Salary; £40k - £50k, depending on experience.

Communications Marketing
Coordinate and execute multi-channel campaigns to our Network Partners and Host Venue Contacts with support from the Head of Marketing.
Deliver online and offline activity ensuring key messages/initiatives are consistent, on-brand, on budget, and on time.
Work closely with the Directors, Head of Departments and Admin team to ensure alignment of messaging, approach, and priorities
Contribute to the overall marketing plan and participate in wider marketing initiatives.
Measure, analyse, and report on campaign performance against agreed-upon metrics.
Read industry news to keep up to date with industry trends and technology.
To improve and increase the interactions each venue has with their parents regarding the services we offer.
Ensure we have a presence on as many host venue websites as possible – help supply content and creativity to support this.
Assist with the compilation and proofreading of content to be sent to key stakeholders.
Ensure all external communications adhere to brand guidelines.
