Then we want you to join us as our Marketing Manager!
This is a new and exciting project within Notion to build a dedicated marketing department and we’re looking for someone who can come on board and have a direct impact on the growth of both our business and yourself.
Role Overview
You’ll be someone who is looking for that next step in their career, who can drive our business forward and bring fresh new ideas to deliver an effective and impactful marketing plan. We want you to drive engagement and awareness across various platforms whilst managing multiple campaigns and continuously identifying ways to enhance our digital strategy.
You’ll have experience in researching and analysing market trends, demographics and competitors with the ability to produce reports on the effectiveness of campaigns and the talent to identify areas for improvement. You’ll also be tasked with identifying key events to exhibit at and managing all associated critical paths and logistics for events.
We work in a fast-paced environment and your priorities will shift accordingly so you’ll need to be organised and adaptable, working with key stakeholders to align and cascade communications across the organisation. You’ll work closely with the Design team to manage the production of all marketing materials and collateral ensuring quality and accuracy and that they adhere to brand standards.
You’ll be responsible for managing the PR agency, freelancers and any other external marketing agencies and you’ll collaborate across all internal teams to identify marketing and PR opportunities and recommend areas for improvements and efficiencies. To support you, we’ll provide you with access to our award-winning STAR® programme where you will gain a Level 3 Operational Coaching® qualification within your first 6 months, and an opportunity to gain the Level 5 qualification within your first 12 months.

Job Description
The following is a list of the types of tasks and expected output from the role. It is not an exhaustive list and some of the tasks are carried out collaboratively. Full training on carrying out these tasks will be provided.
General Marketing Tasks
- Development & delivery of strategic and tactical marketing plans
- Manage the marketing freelancers and external marketing agencies
- Produce attractive and effective communications and campaigns
- Develop and deliver a content calendar to drive engagement and increase awareness including; website content, social media, email campaigns, PR, case studies, insight pieces, blog posts, webinars, youtube videos, white papers
- Manage our ActiveCampaign account; writing collateral tracks and email marketing campaigns and improve our email marketing engagement
- Manage our Google Ads account
- Manage multiple campaigns at one time and able to shift priorities quickly
- Plan and coordinate photo/video shoots to support communications when required
- Research and analyse market trends, demographics and competitors
- Identify key events to exhibit at and manage all associated critical paths and logistics for events
- Partner with key stakeholders (People, Marketing, Sales, Exec team and beyond) to align and cascade communications across the organisation
- Producing reports on marketing and communications campaign effectiveness, identifying and taking action on areas for improvement
- Identifying and recommending awards to be entered into and supporting Strategic Projects with applications
- Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
- Identifying potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing
Digital Marketing
- Identify ways to improve our digital strategy
- Drive the web strategy
- Focus on improving our digital content on social media increasing engagement and followers
- Coordinate website updates and support engagement & SEO
- Organise video shooting, editing and outputting in digital format, for use across a wide range of media
Wider Team Support
- Work with the Design team to manage the production of all marketing materials and collateral ensuring quality and accuracy. Ensuring that they adhere to brand standards
- Proofread content ahead of publication
- To manage the marketing print budget and recommend areas for improvement and efficiencies
- Supporting recruitment initiatives to provide effective recruitment campaigns
- Collaborate with all departments within the business to identify marketing and PR opportunities
