Senior Marketing Manager - B2B Exhibitions

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategies and campaigns for international trade exhibitions and conferences in the energy sector.
The marketing team supports the drive to attract sponsors, exhibitors, delegates, visitors, and media.
The successful applicant must have direct exhibition marketing experience and current knowledge across all marketing channels - website and user experience, design and digital/print collaterals, data, EDMs, content, social media and digital marketing.
Having working market research and marketing analytic experience is essential.
The Senior Marketing Manager will manage a team of marketers to deliver innovative multi-channel marketing campaign plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a marketing strategy and develop and deliver an integrated marketing campaign plan for each event (including exhibitor, delegate and visitor campaigns)
- Create a lead generation and engagement plan with each team
- Forecast and manage the marketing budget and negotiate with suppliers
- Data acquisition, data analysis, segmentation and management
- Manage Marketing Manager and Marketing Executives in the delivery of the marketing plan
- Work with external suppliers to produce key marketing materials in print, digital and video
- Website management with suppliers
- Social Media (organic and paid) and digital including SEO, PPC, geofencing, etc
- Media Plan
- Manage third party elements and integrations such as mobile app, event registration, exhibitor manual, networking platforms, survey and market research
- Advocacy plan with sponsors, exhibitors, delegates and visitors
Your skills & Experience
- We are looking for at least 4-5 years of experience in mid-manager level events marketing, specifically exhibition marketing.
- Strategy creation and critical path analysis
- Experience in the use of databases (in both mass and targeted) direct marketing campaigns
- Experience in managing the production of mobile apps and online registration systems
- People management/leadership
- Website management and user experience
- Excellent writing skills
- Marketing automation, lead generation and lead scoring
- Big data analysis from multiple sources
- Budget management
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
- Excellent attention to detail
We are looking for applicants to have experience using:
ESP- Hubspot, Adestra, Everlytic email composition and analysis- CRM/ Database- Ideally Salesforce or similar
- Social Media Channels/Hootsuite- LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube
- Registration- InfoSalons, N200, Form Assembly
- Website- CMS plus experience in design and user experience
