Responsibilities:
As the Marketing Manager with Hines, you will lead pitches and proposals across the firm’s West Region. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and relationship driven collaborator who is detailed-oriented and possesses a broad skillset across several categories: proposal development, pipeline tracking and calendar management, with knowledge of the real estate industry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

RFP & Strategic Pursuit Process
  • Project manage pursuit/pitch development, including development of a workplan to ensure RFP responses are submitted clearly, concisely and in compliance with all solicitation requirements.
  • Organize, attend, and contribute to preparation meetings with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
  • Develop content through original writing and the adaption of pre-formulated content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction to the satisfaction of internal client.
  • Drive brand consistency while addressing specific clients’ needs.
  • Write the executive summary and key themes for major pursuits, in association with pursuit team.
  • Help develop and communicate win themes, strategies, and graphic design approaches.
  • Produce or facilitate the production of relevant and impactful graphics that reinforce key messaging.
  • Support the preparation of all deliverables related to the opportunity
  • Facilitate debrief session with pursuit team to document lessons learned. Adopt a continuous improvement mindset.

Knowledge Management & Business Intelligence
  • Tracks, measures, and report on performance metrics (win rate, trends, and insights).
  • Complete due diligence and competitive analyses for pursuits including research and analytics.
  • Understand and analyze industry trends and competitive activity.
  • Maintain a library of pitches/presentations, standard marketing collateral materials, case studies, biographies, and knowledge management efforts to aid in client acquisition.
  • Identify new ways to present material to improve pitches and proposals; and maintain an internal best-in-class library of creative marketing materials/approaches.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Four or more years in proposal management, content writing, marketing and/or communications.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Ability to work successfully in a service-oriented, matrixed environment.
  • Strength in balancing strategy with application and implementation.
  • Experience working independently toward goals, communicating effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to lead multiple high-profile and complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience in commercial real estate preferred. Investment management experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with expertise in PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with expertise in Photoshop and InDesign.
  • High degree of energy, assertiveness, and creativity.
  • Ability to produce multiple deliverable quickly, while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift files, records, and computer paper (approximately 5-10 lbs).
  • Ability to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipment.
  • Work overtime as business needs deem appropriate.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
  • Compensation: $100,100 - $125,100.
