About the role
We’re looking for an exceptional Marketing Manager who can take our brand to the next level, by creating engaging content and building market-leading campaigns.
Working with internal and external teams, you’ll plan and deliver campaigns that build our brand recognition and make sure we’re seen by small businesses in the UK looking for a better way to manage their money.
You’ll be joining a team of senior marketing professionals, responsible for acquisition, retention, comms and product marketing. You’ll be collaborating across the team to make sure that the creative ideas you produce are used across all of our customer touchpoints.
What will you be doing?
- Own the planning and delivery of creative content across various mediums and customer touchpoints
- Take our core brand message and turn it into an engaging story for potential users of our product
- Create and execute marketing campaigns to take our brand awareness to the next level
- Work with internal and external resources to execute the creative treatment of leading-edge content
- Create our social media strategy and build our organic social presence
- Write engaging copy to be used in communications to new and existing customers
- Plan multi-channel campaigns and work with the rest of the Marketing team to bring new ideas to life
Core Responsibilities:
- Producing engaging and creative content
- Understanding and analysing marketing opportunities and quickly acting on them
- Leading on our content strategy across a range of different channels
- Introducing new channels and platforms to promote our brand and product
- Building our brand awareness
- Managing organic social media activity
- Working with our Product team to create value propositions for our target markets
Who are you?
Experience and skills
- You’ll have a strategic and creative mindset, looking for interesting, engaging and exciting ways to promote Countingup
- Experienced in building a brand and increasing awareness in a competitive space
- Great project management skills, with the ability to co-ordinate the efforts of internal and external resource to deliver on campaigns
- Experience working on organic social media content that drives results
- An ability to think outside the box in a way that can make our messaging stand out in a crowded marketplace
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure the success of campaigns
- Experience delivering across many aspects of marketing in a fast-moving / start-up environment would be advantageous
- A great copywriter, who can write for different audiences and different channels
