The Role
We are excited to announce we are looking for a New Business & Marketing Manager to join our team supporting activities across the UK and beyond. From the beginning Conversio has grown and acquired new business entirely on reputation and referrals, this will always be important to us and is a reflection of our dedication to delivering consistent growth to our clients. This new role is to play a key part in our next stage of growth by broadening our reach, leading our marketing efforts and driving revenue growth.
This is a part-time role of 2-3 days per week based on experience and availability.
You will be reporting to the Co-Founder and Director of Strategy and working closely with the entire Conversio team. This role would ideally suit someone with a few years of experience in a similar position in a digital / e-commerce / analytics / CRO agency and can demonstrate tangible returns from building marketing and new business strategy from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities - Marketing
- Drive successful marketing campaigns that increase Conversio's brand awareness and generate inbound leads.
- Content creation (creds, thought leadership, events,)
- Collaborate with key technology partners and participate in joint marketing activity
- Work with the wider team to effectively leverage marketing assets
- Take the lead and offer support with writing, updating and formatting credentials, case studies and blogs
Key Responsibilities - New Business:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to acquire new clients in the ecommerce industry.
- Actively prospect and build a pipeline of potential new clients through outbound sales efforts.
- Support pitches and delivery; taking a hands-on management role, where needed, for major new business opportunities (proactive and in-bound)
- Oversee the coordination of inbound new business opportunities and manage the timely handover to practice leaders and senior staff, working with the relevant client & new business teams as needed
- Manage and maintain accurate records of prospective clients and sales activities,
- Ensure strong and productive new business development relationships with technology partners.
- Attend networking events and conferences to promote Conversio’s services and develop business relationships.
Requirements
What you will need (Essential):
- At least 2 years new business and marketing experience in a digital agency
- A good understanding of CRO
- Experience in developing and fostering relationships across the agency and external landscape
- Experience in owning a new business pipeline and proactively reporting on progress
- A high level of integrity, honesty and transparency
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be a self-starter that is proactive towards your own development.
Benefits
We're offering a salary between £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, which will be based on the experience of the candidate. There is a hybrid working environment, the role is based in our central London office at the historic Somerset House with the ability to also work from home.
