Who you are:
Avise is looking for an experienced, yet scrappy, marketing manager who can develop, execute, and iterate on content- and event-based marketing strategies. The ideal candidate has a passion for innovating on content and experiences that educate, inspire, and convert our target audience across various mediums.
You will report directly to our VP Operations and have the opportunity to build from the ground floor as our first dedicated marketing hire.
We're looking for a strategic thinker, world-class doer, and first-class guerrilla marketer who drives results.
Responsibilities:
- Build-out creative marketing strategy through identifying content gaps, opportunities, and trends within our target audience
- Plan, coordinate, and execute campaigns in a variety of formats across channels including field events (virtually and in-person), blogs, social media, email, video, podcasts, etc. to reach and engage target audiences
- Coordinate and execute owned and sponsored conferences, webinars, and events, including content/topic creation, audience acquisition, logistics, and post event follow up
- Create and oversee the production of high-quality content that engages and educates target audiences including webinars, video, assets, infographics
- Test and iterate on content formats, distribution channels, and messaging to optimize performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content & event marketing
- Analyze event & content marketing metrics and KPIs (e.g. MQLs, traffic, engagement, conversion rates) to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement
What you'll need:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably from SaaS
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing an event strategy and content calendar, including thought leadership
- Demonstrated experience using technology and tools (incl. AI) to drive out-sized leverage in the creation of compelling, world-class content for SEO and social
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and project management skills
