This is an exciting and varied role, representing a brilliant opportunity to build and broaden your marketing experience and understanding of marketing channels.
It will involve lots of cross functional interaction working with supplier, our agency partners, our trading teams and marketing squads, so the ability to form great relationships and communicate effectively is essential.
About the role:
This role acts as a key support to our Marketing Squads, supporting the seamless delivery of our Marketing activity to meet customer and commercial objectives.
The role will work predominantly with the Value and Gifting teams, though will need to flex to different requests for support, so the ability to prioritise effectively and to be organised and efficient is key.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with key supplier brands to ensure Boots branding is accurately represented in their marketing communications
- Assist Assistant Marketing Managers to develop marketing communications
- Coordinate product nominations and imagery for marketing materials across a variety of channels, balancing trading priorities and customer appeal
- Support the delivery of marketing campaigns from briefing agencies to delivery of assets
- Manage approval of communications from trading, legal and PML
- Support collation of information for report and presentations i.e. competitor activity
- Coordinate product samples for photo/TV shoots and managing returns process
- Raising purchase orders for marketing production and updating the finance tracker
Your experience:
- Experience in Marketing communications preferred
- Experience in working with agencies/suppliers preferred
- Customer focused, with a passion for marketing and keen to learn and develop
- Responsiveness and flexibility to adapt to business needs and priorities
- Self-motivated and ability to work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail even when working at pace
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- A strong team player, able to work well with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong IT skills including Teams, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
