Job description
The Marketing Assistant will provide administrative assistance and project support to the UK Residential Marketing team. You will assist in executing the roll out of the national marketing campaign across the regional offices, and the implementation of local marketing activity.
The candidate will support the team in their everyday activities and must be an efficient, self-starter who can multi-task with a positive, proactive and can-do attitude. It is essential that they are a good communicator and strong administration skills are a must.
Travel to the regions within the UK will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Support the marketing team with the planning, implementation, and monitoring of marketing activity across all UK Offices- Assist in the management and production of local print and Direct Mail campaigns.
- Assist in the production of publications, including proof-reading / copy checking, approval of articles, organising and checking spreadsheets, keeping to timelines.
- Assist in the management and execution of local social media campaigns.
- Assist in the co-ordination and running of virtual and in-person local events and activations.
- Create reports on key metrics in order to monitor campaign efficiency and analyse trends.
- Assist with day to day queries from local offices.
- Complete administrative marketing tasks such as gathering information from multiple offices and updating pitch letter templates.
- Develop a full understanding of our marketing systems; can pull reports and assist offices in using them.
- Assist in the tracking of local marketing budgets, flagging any over-spend where necessary.
- Processing and logging of invoices, in close liaison with Finance.
- Being fully involved in the activities of the busy marketing department with a flexible attitude to tasks and projects.
In addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out additional duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
Key Skills
Technical Experience
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook/PowerPoint/Word/Excel) is essential.
- A qualification in marketing is desirable, but not necessary.

Team Overview
The Marketing Assistant role sits within the UK Residential Marketing team. The team of 11 is led by a Senior Marketing Manager, and covers the Sales & Lettings offices across the UK as well as all High-Net Worth marketing. This role is predominantly supporting the Sales & Lettings team, who oversee a network of 141 offices including both physical and virtual spanning the breadth of the country. The team are responsible for the execution and implementation of national marketing campaign activity within local office markets, as well as the implementation of local office marketing activity to drive awareness and business in the local community.
The UK Residential Marketing team is then part of the wider marketing team which is approximately 90 people. The other teams include specialist teams in Digital Marketing, Design & Social Media, as well as a UK wide marketing teams for both the Commercial and Rural sectors of Real Estate. The majority of the team are based in the Head Office and we have regular all team meetings, events & socials to collaborate as one department.
