Job Description – Marketing Assistant/Executive
Reports to: CTO
Permanent. £23,000 - £30,000
We are looking to recruit an ambitious Marketing Assistant or Executive (DOE) to join our fast-paced and hard-working marketing team.
Reporting to our CTO, you will be involved in planning and carrying out a broad range of marketing campaigns ranging from design to content marketing and advertising. You will need to be a creative thinker with strong communication skills and will need some previous marketing and graphic design experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- To maintain and improve on catalogues and listings across Amazon, eBay, B&Q and our websites in the UK and EU.
- To maintain and improve content across Amazon, eBay, B&Q and our websites in the UK and EU.
- To work on Graphic design tasks including product images, social media images, adverts, infographics and product packaging design.
- To manage and develop social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok and our blog, increasing revenue and traffic from these sources.
- To develop and broadcast email marketing campaigns and journeys.
Experience required:
- At least 2 years hands on marketing experience.
- Skilled in the use of social media platforms for business and marketing purposes.
- Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent content creation skills, and attention to detail.
- Minimum standard of English to GCSE, grade A* to C
Experience advantageous but not required:
- Marketing experience in the DIY sector.
- Marketing with or for an ecommerce business.
- Copywriting experience.
- Experience using Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central.
- Experience using eBay.
- Experience using Magento.
- Email marketing experience with any platform.
- Online advertising/PPC experience with any platform.
- Social media advertising experience.
