Marketing Assistant
About the job
We are looking for Marketing Assistant reporting to country manager of TP-Link UK Ltd. You will be Providing admin support for the whole marketing team, which will include clerical tasks as well as being responsible for marketing activity. You will ensure the smooth running of the team by responding to incoming enquiries and fielding requests from other divisions within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the delivery of, tracking, analysing and reporting on the results of TPL and channel (MDF) campaigns
- Competitive analysis tracking & reporting on competitor promos/launches and reporting back to the business
- Using insights from the above two points to draw conclusions and provide insights into which campaigns/call to action are the most effective for future activity
- Liaising with marketing suppliers to ensure that we get the best price and service
- Managing the POS/Give aways for Channel and trade shows
- Attending industry events, conferences and trade shows to provide support to sales and carry out competitor analysis
- Be comfortable engaging with the TPL community on social media to build engagement and brand personality
- Be the first point of contact Resellers and Sales Teams for common marketing assets (graphics/data sheets etc)
- Maintaining repositories marketing assets including Icecat and other internal marketing resources
- Managing the product review request process including tracking progress to decrease the time from dispatching product to review appearing
- Create and maintain a system for tracking campaign cost and performance
- Working with customer marketing teams to ensure marketing plans are executed on time, within budget and track performance enabling giving the team visibility of ROI
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Ideally degree educated, preferably with CIM qualification or similar.
- Ideally some marketing/sales experience within a technology based environment, preferably with an IT consumer electronics or computer network industry,
- Ability to work cross-culturally and adapt to different working practices and principles
- Experience of planning and organizing events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
- Experience of development, management and execution of communications through various media channels.
- In-depth understanding and appreciation of all communication disciplines including internal communications and PR with proven track record of delivery and execution.
- Ability to understand the needs of business-to-business environment.
- Ability to liaise closely with partners and other departments and cope well under the pressure of tight deadlines on numerous projects.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Strong business and market analysis skills, have good sense of numbers
- Excellent verbal and written marketing communication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential.
