Marketing Assistant
Location: On site: Hove
Job Type: Fixed term 6-month contract. Full time 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 pro rata
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 – working hours need to be flexible to work commitments.
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing assistant to join our growing marketing team to support both our UK and ANZ businesses. You will help organise campaigns and online events, support with social media, answer email queries, help prepare collateral and emails and more. Your work is integral to the smooth operation of the marketing department.
Marketing Assistant responsibilities:
- Assist in the organisation of digital campaigns and facilitate their success.
- Support the rest of the marketing teams with ad hoc tasks
- Update content on company's website and social media platforms
- Respond to messages from potential students on social media or email
- Copywriting and content creation
- Produce marketing literature to support the Career Consultants/Sales Teams
- Use a variety of marketing analytics techniques to glean relevant data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
- Keep spreadsheets up-to-date with both financial and non-financial information; update databases and inventories with statistical information as well as financial information
- Communicate with prospects and students to support their learning
- Help prepare promotional presentations
Marketing Assistant requirements:
- You might have some experience in a customer facing/marketing role
- Or you might be an enthusiastic first jobber with a demonstrable interest in getting involved in marketing
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines
- Fabulous organisational, communication and people skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Clear written English - Ability to write clearly and accurately
- Numeracy - A good grasp of figures
- Degree preferred, but not essential
