As the Marketing Assistant you will support the Head of Marketing and senior marketing team with a range of responsibilities, including maintaining the overall marketing plan and laydown. You will also assist in supporting the effective delivery of a wide variety of impactful communications across a variety of media and resources.
This is a trainee role with a view to becoming a Marketing Executive in a couple of years’ time. The job holder will support the delivery of communication plans that support understanding and delivery of key business objectives.
- Some of the main responsibilities of the role will include setting up and maintaining an accurate view of our suppliers, accurate invoice tracking, logging PR activity and curating standard presentations.
- You will update and maintain the overall marketing plan taking inputs from the team.
- Supporting our PR agency and internal stakeholders with updates/introductions and maintain PR log including coverage.
- Accurate proof reading of collateral, mailings, and presentations as a 2nd pair of eyes when required.
- You'll support our events co-ordinator with events admin.
- Administration of distribution lists and audit trail records.
- Support with Portal updates for business unit channels.
- Support with regular Marketing updates/presentations e.g., monthly Peer group taking inputs from Marketing team and OpenPeople.
- Support supplier management and review process.
- Support with branded /merchandise briefs and requests sourcing to cost and quality.
