Part-time Marketing Assistant

About Us:
LP Events Ltd launched in January 2023 as the next step in our journey following our success with ‘Celebrate by Lisa’ where we have been offering bespoke and personalised balloon décor for all events. We are now able to offer the full package through our new company LP Events Ltd, we work with event planners to provide a bespoke package ranging from chairs, table covers and centrepieces to shimmer walls and our amazing 4ft light up letters to make any event stand out.
We aim to be the one-stop event supplier by working with Corporate Businesses and Hotels as preferred partners. To achieve this, we need our social media to tell our story, we want to employ a Marketing assistant to help us achieve our goals.
The Opportunity:
- Creating inspiring Social Media posts to reach out and engage with prospective and current clients.
- Showcase products and promote offers online.
- Phoning prospective clients – through targeted campaigns
- Handling with customer inbound enquiries
- Issue digital copies of our brochures to prospective clients following inbound/outbound calls.
- Drive sales and assist the business to grow through use of social media and telephone calls.
- Work closely with Managing Director to proactively deliver excellent customer service.
- Attend trade shows and networking groups to help promote the business - optional
What we need you to bring to the party:
- Knowledge of creating engaging social media posts via various platforms to attract sales from corporate businesses.
- Strong customer service skills and to attract repeat clients.
- Desire to succeed.
- Good written skills, we mostly use email and social media to communicate our brand.
- Be flexible and want to drive the business forward in order to create more working hours.
- Proactive and enthusiastic creating a range of content for various platforms and is experienced in following:
- Social Media: content creation for LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook
- CRM Database: input and list management integration with eshots.
- Collateral: assist with creating content for a range of marketing collateral, graphic design experience would be beneficial.
- Create Sales Portfolios: making into sales packs.
- Updating website content, set up and refresh landing pages.
- Google analytics: analyse performance of our website monthly.
- PowerPoint: design and update engaging company marketing presentations.
What we offer in return:
- Hourly rate at minimum wage (April 2023 rate)
- Initially 4 hours per week, with option for more hours as and when business require these, we offer flexi working.
- Hybrid working with a combination of office, home and client sites.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro-rated for part-timers
