Full Time, 5 days, 37.5 hours per week

Who are Lexonik?

Sound Training for Reading, trading as Lexonik, are a training provider based in Middlesbrough, specialising in providing educators with training in effective literacy intervention programmes.

The role

We are looking for a dedicated Marketing Assistant to aid with the creation and implementation of our future marketing campaigns.

You will join a small marketing team where your skills will be developed further, and you would be supporting our growing company through varied content creation, systems management, and campaign planning through primarily digital avenues.

As a result, we are looking for a creative mind, with strong digital literacy and the ability to anticipate trends to help us continue growing.

Responsibilities include:

· Participate in campaign planning

· Social media scheduling and creation

· Maintain and update website CMS

· Email campaign support

· SEO research

· Interact with users on social media

· Market and competitor research

· Podcast calendar organisation, with a view to editing

· Creation of campaign graphics and videos

· Supporting with external marketing contractors

· Being available to the Marketing and IT Managers when needed

Desirable skills and experience:

· Audio/ video editing experience

· Familiar with Canva or similar design tools

· Microsoft suite proficiency

· Copywriting proficiency

· Knowledge of CMS e.g. Craft CMS, WordPress

· Knowledge of paid social and PPC systems

Qualities:

· Creative

· Organised

· Able to work independently and self-monitor

· Teamwork

· Desire to learn on the job

• Digital marketing: 3 years (preferred)
