Company information: BioteCH4 are one of the leading AD operators in the UK, handling the collection and transportation of food waste, oils and fats recycling. Our plant locations, EnriCH4, Local Generation, Hemswell Biogas, R100, Changing Waste, Thornfield Energy, Holme Bioenergy, WRD, Harris Tobias and Stortec, operate under our umbrella company name - BioteCH4.
We also provide biological support, emergency response and feedstock supply to other operators within the industry. Our industry expertise means we not only have the knowledge and experience to deal with all the food waste the UK produces. We also have the capacity to handle whatever quantity you need us to, from the majority of sectors across each of our plants. In 2022 BioteCH4 handled 557,000 tonnes of waste, applied 347,229 tonnes of digestate to land, and generated 280,000 MWh of energy.

About the role: The role requires the person to have a keen eye for detail, a thirst for knowledge and the desire to form and grow their role and responsibilities within the group.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our marketing team, to act as the supporting link between the team, business, and third-party agencies in the support of the ongoing marketing strategy and key industry events and awards.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our marketing team, to act as the supporting link between the team, business, and third-party agencies in the support of the ongoing marketing strategy and key industry events and awards.
Responsibilities:
- Support at events and awards and the importance these have for the presentation of the business at key industry events.
- Manage the company’s incoming enquiries and lead generation enquiries.
- Manage the implementation of our brand across the group from vehicle livery to stationery and online presence.
- Managing the administration and logistics around the awards and events we attend throughout the year.
- Maintain and update the website (WordPress)
- To build the brand across the group and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Produce the quarterly group staff newsletter.
- Support the marketing and brand manager with the implementation of the marketing strategy across the group’s locations.
- Ordering event literature, stationery and merchandise when required for the business needs.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- A good understanding of social media and the platforms’ roles within the promotion of business.
- A good, clear, and concise writing style and knowledge of the English language.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Organised and with the ability to competently manage multiple projects.
- A good grasp of Microsoft applications.
Desirable:
- Experience of managing third party agencies, briefing design and copy requirements and multitasking the handling of multiple projects.
- Analysing data around the performance of digital marketing activity/campaigns to demonstrate ROI of paid advertising in line with company objectives.
- Experience of Google Analytics and understanding website performance.
- Experience in maintaining WordPress websites.
- Knowledge of the impact a PR and active communications strategy can have on the performance of brand promotion and key messaging.
- Using a CRM programme.
Working days/hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Annual salary: Dependant on experience, to confirmed on offer to the successful candidate.
