Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. The Studio is home to 20 sound stages, production offices, workshops, a heated underwater filming tank and an extensive Studio backlot complete with exterior tank. Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden can accommodate productions of any scale including large blockbuster films and high-end TV dramas.
Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for production companies. The Studio also has its own, on-site Set Lighting & Rigging rental division, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding and production supplies for stage and location shoot. Warner Bros. Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, based in Soho, London, provides award-winning picture and sound post-production for feature films and high-end television.
These facilities make Warner Bros. the only Hollywood studio to own and operate a production and post-production facility in the UK.
Your New Role:
To provide Marketing support for all areas of the Warner Bros. Studio Leavesden. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support across all areas of Marketing including brand, website, social media, digital marketing, graphic design, and events.
This role requires a candidate who has a passion for both the film and TV industry and for Marketing. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team in a busy and vibrant environment. The work will be extremely varied and the role offers an opportunity to learn about all areas of Marketing.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Over the course of your apprenticeship, you will build your skills and knowledge to be able to successfully:
Assist in updating content on the website
Assist with producing branded merchandise, stock take and orders
Support with content for newsletters and digital noticeboards
Organise and manage catalogue of images, stills and film posters
Assist with the organisation of both internal and external events
Support the team with social media activity
Design and create simple marketing materials and assist with larger design projects
Provide general support for marketing campaigns, projects, events and initiatives across all business units
Update spreadsheets and internal documents
Undertake general office duties including photocopying, answering telephone calls and filing
Qualifications & Experience:
Skills/Knowledge:
Interest in the media industry
Interest in photography and videography
Interest in social media
Strong verbal and written skills
Good with numbers and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Good organisation and prioritisation skills
Behaviours:
Ability to cope in a busy environment and work to fast deadlines
Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to requests, using own initiative and be prepared to ask for help and advice when necessary
Ability to work closely and well with other team members
Positive outlook and “can do” attitude
Calm and friendly approach
Outgoing and friendly demeanor to all members of staff and clients
Proactive and self-motivated
Commitment to gaining apprenticeship qualification through attending college when required and completing related work
The Apprenticeship:
Salary: £19,700 p/a
Contract Length: 21 months
Start Date: September 2023
Course: Marketing Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship
20 days annual leave
Working Hours:
You will be required to work five days per week with 20% of your working week devoted to your college work. There may be a requirement for the occasional visit to college dependent upon the final training provider however the majority of your college assessments will be carried out in the workplace. You may be required to undertake work during evenings and weekends in line with the requirements of the business
