With an emphasis on commercial marketing activities, this position will be crucial in defining, developing, and driving the implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns for the Provide group. The successful candidate will also have the chance to take the initiative and contribute to a variety of company projects giving the right person a rare opportunity to grow and truly influence the company's performance.
The Marketing and Engagement Manager will take a leading role in developing brand strategies and implementing detailed marketing activity plans that support the achievement of corporate objectives, including defining appropriate metrics to measure the success of activities.
- Development and delivery of the group marketing strategy and related marketing activity plans.
- Brand development and management.
- All marketing processes and achievement of related objectives.
- Reporting and analysis of marketing performance KPI’s and related metrics.
- Delivery of ad hoc communications and marketing projects.
- Recruitment and team development.

The Marketing and Engagement Manager will take a leading role in developing brand strategies and implementing detailed marketing activity plans that support the achievement of corporate objectives, including defining appropriate metrics to measure the success of activities.
- Define and develop innovative marketing strategies that drive the achievement of group objectives.
- Create, and implement comprehensive marketing activity plans in line with priorities identified in the marketing strategy.
- Determine suitable metrics to assess the success of marketing initiatives. Providing evaluative reports on the performance of activities in relation to strategy, objectives and action plans.
- Establish, develop and implement brand strategy and guidance to ensure consistent application across the group.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of marketing activities, contributing to improvements within the marketing and communications team and across the group.
- Overseeing the creation and publication of marketing content optimised for a number of communication channels.
- Take a lead role in the creation and development of social media strategy, which expands the reach of our platforms to increase interaction with key audiences.
- Work with our in-house teams to specify, design and launch new websites that support the delivery of marketing plans.
- Ensure that all current and new websites comply with current legislative requirements and standards.
- Undertake marketing and engagement planning to support key programmes, campaigns and service developments including engagement campaigns, tender content, business acquisitions and mobilisations.
- Develop, manage, and update marketing-related policies and procedures, ensuring the adoption of best practice methodology, and standards, and communicating these to departmental and organisational colleagues.
- Review and approve marketing collateral ensuring it is produced in line with relevant brand guidance, related style guides and quality standards.
- Provide professional advice, expertise and proactive leadership on aspects of both internal and external marketing.
- As needed, write and/ or edit engaging briefings, articles, newsletter content, web content and bulletins for internal and external audiences.
- Support the management of external agency support, liaising with key contacts, writing task briefings, prioritising Workplan, with responsibility for monitoring budget spending and ensuring overall delivery of work required.
- With a focus on marketing activity, support the development and implementation of programmes and initiatives that deliver Social Value outcomes based on the national Themes, Outcomes and Measure (TOM’s) framework.
- When required deputise for the Director of Marketing and Communications across the full range of the marketing and communications function.
