Marketing and Communications Officer vacancy
About us and the role
We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications officer to join our busy team. We provide a high-quality marketing and communications service to promote council services and support the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives. We plan and deliver measurable projects and campaigns to promote key messages to specific audiences, using the full range of owned, earned and paid communications.
The role will plan and deliver activity to promote a range of council services. Using online and offline channels, you will protect and enhance our reputation with the media, residents and other stakeholders, building strong relationships with internal and external partners. Experience in planning, executing and evaluating campaigns, including the creation of content and management of social media channels is essential.
The successful applicant will need resilience, creativity, attention to detail, at least five years’ experience in marketing or communications and strong organisational skills.
