We’re looking for a passionate, well-organised, Sales driven Marketing Intern to join our sales and event team. The Sales & Marketing Intern is responsible for increasing event revenue across the sites by targeting businesses, organisations and individuals, and promote & sell both private & ticketed events.
As a Sales and Marketing Intern you will embark upon an intensive sales training schedule when you first join, and will then put that training into practice by selling advertising and sponsorship solutions for all kind of clients.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Working within a small advertising sales team, your primary responsibility will be to generate new advertising sales opportunities, researching and developing relationships with the ultimate goal of growing our client base
- Manage sales cycle, from prospecting to pitching to closing
- Building and Engaging with existing clients to secure ongoing meeting attendance
- Attendance at events
- Emailing, presenting and pitching over the phone; video calls; and face-to-face
- Maximising the profitability, sustainability and quality of each event through effective procurement
- Assist with negotiating contracts
- Work closely with the marketing team, supporting them with events and campaigns
- Excellent verbal and written skills required
- Needs to be highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
