Farnell, a leading global distributor of electronic components, is seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Administrator on a 12 month FTC to join our dynamic team in Leeds. Office located in Leeds – The role is remote/hybrid and office based 3 days a week

What will you be doing?

  • You will be required to undertake a number of administrative tasks relating to advertising including our purchase system and support of the advertising schedule/allocations.
  • Supporting email team members on campaigns
  • Working on your own campaigns requested by stakeholders
  • Supporting on the booking, reporting and the administration of online media bookings.
  • Collaboration with marketing operations in alignment of activity, workflow and processes and that the agreed email marketing plans and off plan email requests are developed, delivered, deployed and tracked effectively.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various marketing initiatives and projects
  • Support the marketing team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

With an interest in marketing, you’ll need to be highly organised, self motivated, able to multi-task and work on a range of different tasks. Tasks include supporting email team members on campaigns, in time working on your own campaigns requested by stakeholders, as well as supporting on booking, reporting and the administration of our online media bookings.

You’ll have an interest in marketing but no experience is necessary we’ll give you all the training you’ll need to be successful. Experience in Microsoft Office and detailed knowledge of excel and CSV files is essential.

  • Excellent attention to detail and grammar
  • Good understanding of data manipulation (CSV files).
  • Experience with Excel and Word.
  • Ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to self-manage and work to deadlines on your initiative

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £16,813.99-£22,000.00 per year
