We require 8-10 self employed market research call centre interviewers to work from home - apply today start date week commencing 27th Feb 2023.

In order to apply for this role you need to be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, work a minimum of 2 evenings per week (5-8pm) and at least 2 Saturdays per month (4 hour shift).

Full time self employed

Job Description
As part of the Acuity team, you’ll be joining our group of fantastic telephone interviewers, delivering first-class service to our clients who wish to understand their resident’s opinions and needs.

Using your own computer and internet connection you will be making VOIP calls (SKY is not compatible) through your computer and conducting surveys through our online system. Full training is provided on the use of these systems as well as interviewer training.

Working on a variety of different survey topics from repairs, complaints, anti-social behaviour issues and general satisfaction, you will receive a full briefing on every survey you will be working on.

You will be connected (though Microsoft Teams) to the Team Leader and to the wider interviewing team for support, help and guidance; you’re never alone!

During your probation period you will be given additional support and performance reviews, with regular reviews thereafter.

Interviewers are employed on a self-employed basis, invoicing Acuity on a monthly basis. A self-employment contract will be provided for signing at the start of the work, and you will have to provide ID to prove eligibility for work in the UK.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
Experience in a telephone customer service role is essential and Acuity will provide full market research interviewing training and support. In order to apply for the role, you must have a computer, a good broadband connection and a headset. We are looking for applicants with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The main skills are focusing on the needs of the customer, remaining impartial yet supportive, listening to resident’s issues, capturing information succinctly and accurately and the strength of character not to take offence when residents are impolite.

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a market research service/call centre environment/telephone customer service
  • Experience using computers and Microsoft systems
  • GCSE English and Maths
  • Strong IT skills
  • Other languages desirable

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Good communication & people skills, confident telephone manner
  • Fluent in written and oral English essential and other languages desirable
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Good typing skills
  • Self-motivated, with ability to organise and plan own work
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • Ability to input data accurately and maintain office data systems
  • Ability to use own initiative when appropriate and refer to manager when in doubt
