Job Title: Maritime Training Project Manager

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Accountable for the budget, performance, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the project progresses
- Management of the project risks and issues, ensuring that all actions are progressed
- Pro-actively solve problems, working with the wider team to develop solutions
- Communicate, sometimes complicated information, effectively to multiple audiences, including internal / external stakeholders
- Providing support to the Programme Manager and own team and wider programme
- Develop and actively manage robust relationships with key senior stakeholders from all businesses and relevant functions
- Using project management techniques, to enable early identification of problems and implementation of mitigation action
- Decision making, with clarity, in an environment of ambiguity & uncertainty
Your skills and experiences:
- Proven experience in the management and delivery of large scale projects (either in value or strategic importance)
- Ability to manage a diverse range of Stakeholders
- Business winning experience including the creation and submission of bids
- Strong commitment, self-motivation and the ability to drive other people and teams whilst working collaboratively across the wider portfolio
- Able to concurrently manage a number of smaller projects & opportunities

The Maritime Training Projects team:
As a Project Manager of the Projects Team you will be responsible for winning and delivering discreet packages of work with the role of growing these packages into larger opportunities for the Training business. A strong project management background is essential and experience of business winning and development very desirable. The role will provide the opportunity to work on projects that will shape the future of analysis and training design for the Royal Navy and other international navies. This is a newly formed team and so will require the shaping and development of a strategic vision with support from the business.
