Our Marine & Logistics department within RWE Offshore Wind is looking for a Marine Project Support. You will be supporting the Marine Project Management Team to deliver marine projects and optimise operational activities across the Offshore Wind fleet.

Your future plans

  • Manage technical and marine documentation such as technical drawings, risk assessments, method statements, lift plans and operating instructions
  • Work on standards, processes, and support consistent approaches across the portfolio of our vessels
  • Support marine campaigns for major component exchanges using Jack Up Vessels
  • Support the project management and coordinate daily activities with the vessel operator and technical teams
  • Support the planning of all marine activities; incl. responsibility for Marine & Logistics administration
  • Support campaign scheduling, perform weather assessment, track and improve performance and progress
  • Support wider fleet optimisation support functions on demand
  • Support the team in procurement and tender processes
  • Support budget management processes, cost control and work closely with commercial functions
  • Coordinate and support daily activities, load-outs, port calls and crew changes
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety and industry standards
  • Track vessel performance, collect data and produce reports
  • Support and coordinate internal and external parties and tasks such as scheduling, engineering, certification, marine coordination, HSSE, authorities, vessel suppliers, marine warranty surveyors

Your profile

  • A relevant background in offshore wind, logistics or shipping
  • Experience in the offshore wind industry and marine project management beneficial
  • Experience in operating within safety, environmental and operational policies, frameworks and statutory legislation
  • Very good communication skills (English), written and spoken
  • Structured thinking, development of methods and procedures
  • Knowledge of good business administration practice
  • Understanding of Microsoft based office software applications
  • Willingness to travel (UK/CE) and to work offshore for short periods
