The firm’s direct-to-consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up with more than 150 years of experience. Today, we serve millions of customers across multiple products, leveraging innovative design, data, engineering, and other core capabilities to provide customers with powerful tools and products that are grounded in value, transparency, and simplicity.
Marcus by Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to engage with business stakeholders to define and prioritise a roadmap of initiatives; and to work with Engineering teams to specify requirements and to lead the delivery of various initiatives, primarily in an Agile project framework. Experience of supporting AEM platform and implementing Analytics required .
Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Work with local business leadership and US stakeholders to define user experience priorities, design goals and frameworks supporting a digital oriented multi-channel approach
- Work with Marketing team and acquisition channel partners to optimise and customise application journeys and funnels on AEM to maximise effectiveness of the web channel.
- Monitor and optimise the performance of the Marcus US digital assets, including website and internal digital systems
- Work with Technology scrum teams to prioritize, schedule and implement changes to digital content and functionality; and monitor and report on the impact of changes
- Deliver a best-in-class end to end user experience across digital channels
- Maintain a full understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory issues
- Work with other team members to ensure an omni-channel approach to marketing and operations
- Ongoing interaction with the data analytics team to define and design AB testing to drive conversion
- Work in complex, cross functional teams with strong influence, communication and ability to incorporate the contributions, objectives and constraints of all into a highly user experience centric function
- Provide both highly analytical and creative ideas to test, optimize and improve conversion
- Ensure that designs deliver an appropriate balance of optimizing business objectives & user engagement.
Skills
- Hands on experience of AEM and Adobe’s other platforms
- A thorough understanding of digital rights management, content approval process/design, workflow operations and campaign operations.
- Proven ability to drive meaningful business growth through digital experience
- Fluency in leading edge design and user experience tools and principles including responsive design, content marketing and optimizing websites to improve natural listing performance with search engines
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience with Content Management Tools (AEM)
- Experience working in agile business and technology development structure
- Self-directed team player, ability to drive high performance and work independently or in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
- Experience developing rapid prototypes
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required, supported by relevant qualifications in digital design & implementation
- Up to 5 years of experience required in roles of increasing responsibility with particular focus on content management systems.
- Prior experience of managing & optimizing websites, ideally in retail financial services
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services preferred Leadership experience in a startup environment
